Behind the book--My new release, The Bookshop by the Bay

I have a new release! The Bookshop by the Bay released on June 6 from St. Martin's Press and it is available everywhere online as well as in all major retailers--Target, Walmart, Kroger, Costco, BJs, Hudson's and more.

This book is special to me because it is set on Cape Cod, where I grew up. It is a story about two best friends and their thirty-year-old daughters and a summer in Chatham where they take over a beloved bookshop. It is a summer of big changes, and new beginnings.

The women in this book will quickly come to feel like friends as you get to know them. And I hope you will fall in love with Chatham too--with it's quaint Main Street, fresh salty air and sandy beaches.

If you haven't read my books yet--you might also want to read some of my other women's fiction series. The Nantucket Inn, is the first in a series about a woman who turns her waterfront home into an inn, so she can afford to stay on Nantucket, near her four adult children and friends.

The Restaurant, is my top-selling book so far--about three sisters who inherit a restaurant on Nantucket from their grandmother (and they never knew she owned it!). They have to spend one year together running it before they can sell.

The Hotel, is about a family-run luxury hotel on Nantucket and its guests--which include a famous actress staying there undercover.

Nashville Dreams is my first women's fiction novel and it is a big, soapy saga about true love torn apart by amnesia, and a scheming billionaire father, set in the world of country music.

And if you like historical women's fiction, Gilded Girl is set in the Gilded Age, in Manhattan, when a London lady's maid learns that her real father is one of the richest men in Manhattan. He sends for her and she quickly finds that his two daughters, her half-sisters, are far less enthused about her arrival.
